Our team has created a comprehensive training program that will equip your interns and residents with foundational leadership and ministry skills, give them the chance to see the bigger picture of the Kingdom of God as they interact with residents and interns from other ministries across the country, and solidify their understanding of how God has uniquely created them to serve and make disciples, regardless of whether they're in full-time ministry long term.

Comprehensive Curriculum
The Young Leader's Cohort follows a two year cycle. The 2026-2027 cohort will focus on leading outward and dig into topics like:
- Biblical Disciple-making
- Communication in leadership
- Essential skills for leading a team
- Engaging post-Christian culture
- Crafting and casting vision
- and more
Weekly cohort Call
A weekly 90-minute cohort Zoom call to help residents process and apply their learning and experience through dialogue with our experienced facilitators and other young leaders from across the country.
From the challenges of transitioning from student to staff to how to manage time well to sharing the gospel with a transgender student, the calls address the real issues your young leaders are wrestling with.
Intensives
Each semester includes a 3-4 day in-person intensive that digs deep into a specific topic, gives a chance for deeper connection, and exposes the cohort to different ministry environments.
Intensives are consistently the highlight of each semester, with the cohort getting to spend time in person and experience a different college or young adult ministry context while digging deep into Scripture and ministry leadership principles.
Practical Fieldwork
Guided opportunities for putting what's being learned into practice with the help of the ministry's senior leader.
Participants will be tasked with things like tracking their time use, practicing vision casting, interviewing non-Christians to better understand their context, and more.
